Review Preview

 A Preview of my upcoming review of the Report on Christian Politics.

Don't worry. Most of the sentences in that review will be shorter than this one:

To be sure, when it comes to the moral degradation of our society—the public celebration of sexual perversion, the massive number of unborn children destroyed in the womb, the grievously high rate of divorce, the prevalence of pornography, the ubiquity of obscenity, and the decline of both the private practice of Christianity and of civic decency—various and complex are the causes that could be blamed for this deplorable state of affairs; but whatever other causes may have contributed to it, the recent near-total exclusion of true religion as such from public policy surely hasn't helped to ameliorate these evils, which are the very sort of noxious weeds that might be expected to be more likely to flourish in the garden of society when civil restraints on irreligion are removed.
